$100,000 reward on who killed Warwick girl

The reward has climbed for the arrest and conviction on the killer(s) responsible for the shooting death of Miya Brophy-Baermann of Warwick. In the early morning hours of Sunday August 1, 2021, twenty-four year old Miya Brophy-Baermann was shot and killed by a passing car on Olney Street in Providence.   Anyone with information should contact Detective Sgt.   • There is a now a $100,000 cash reward offered in the murder investigation of Miya Brophy- Baermann of Warwick. $100,000 cash for the individual(s) with accurate, direct information deemed crucial that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible. If there is more than one person with information, the reward will be divided equally. The reward is made possible from private citizens who wish to remain anonymous.
  • Miya’s Parents, Michelle and Bryan Brophy-Baermann, issue the following statement:” Our hearts remain broken with the loss of our precious Miya. While we are extremely grateful for the reward, our wish remains that the individual(s) responsible would come forward and face the consequences of their actions that took Miya’s life.”
  • How did this come about? On November 3rd 2021, John DePetro interviewed Miya’s parents. As a result of the interview, private citizens (who wish to remain anonymous) stepped forward to offer a sizable cash reward to hold those responsible accountable.
