Video: ER closed due to nursing shortage

 

Wow. According to the Boston Globe, the emergency center at Rhode Island Hospital is the only Level I trauma center in our area and part of it was forced to close due to the nursing shortage. Average wait times can be five to eight hours and things could get worse. Governor McKee set a deadline of October 1, for a vaccine mandate and this is causing nurses to leave. What will it be like after next week?
