Rhode Island Govenor Dan McKee has a paid staff member that is bragging over his attendance at the pr–Hamas rally that took place at the Rhode Island state house on Saturday. Sources tell us McKee has been calling Jewish leaders and letting them know he has a “personnel issue” in his office.
PROVIDENCE – The social media postings of a pro-Palestine staffer in Gov. Dan McKee’s office have put him in the crosshairs of the state’s adamantly pro-Israel governor.
Miguel Sanchez, the Providence councilman who doubles as a $50,000 a year “associate” in McKee’s Constituent Affairs office, has not yet responded to Journal inquiries about McKee’s response to his posts on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
In his posts, Sanchez trumpeted his participation in last Saturday’s rally and march in Providence by hundreds of pro-Palestine activists associated with the Democratic Socialists of America and other groups, who demanded an “end to the occupation.” He also blamed the United States for “actively aiding in a genocide.”
