Who said there is a housing crisis?  In the latest edition of PVD on-line yard sale, a space in Providence is listed at “700 pesos per month,” which comes out to $37.61 per month. Notice it says it is “a room, not an apartment.” Looks more like a closet but it has a door for privacy and use of the kitchen. It also features a rack to hang clothes and a shelf above. Only 700 pesos a month, (American cash not accepted).  Providence continues to thrive as a place to attract new arrivals.
