Video: CCRI student identifies as lizard

CCRI

CCRI is buzzing with the new pronouns students are using including one who identifies as a lizard. The new state education diversity stresses acceptance of students and one has chosen that of a lizard. Part of the Rhode Island Promise is free tuition at CCRI which allows anyone to attend whether they are serious or not. Students complain the person dressed as a lizard is distracting and creepy but are lectured on accepting people “who they are” and feel most comfortable being. Instructors have encouraged students to get to know the lizard and appreciate “the courage it took to be himself.” Cafeteria workers complain the lizard-student complains about the lack of flies. The Lizard frequently interrupts class complaining of blatant reptile bias.
