Governor Dan McKee has only been in office for five months and two of his directors are being investigated by State Police. The latest shoe to drop is Chief-of-Staff and “Cumberland crony” Tony Silva with a land deal that has become quicksand and has brought a hurricane to Smith Hill. Tropical storm Henri may have missed the state but Hurricane land deal has turned into a category five disaster of bad press and headlines. Silva tried horrendous talking points with CH12 where he announced he is “glad” the state police are investigating him. McKee is a loyal guy but the Democrat primary is twelve months away and his administration is taking on heavy water. Sources say even LT. Gov Matos is becoming concerned the McKee bad press could taint her. This will not end well or soon.
