The East Providence shooting suspect had something planned on Friday. Joshua Pavao started shooting at a house (of someone believed to be an ex-girlfriend) and led police on a chase through the city. DePetro.com has learned Rhode Island state police reached out Maine state police on Friday after the shooting to conduct a wellness-check on the ex-wife of Pavao in Maine. Pavao has been stalking his ex-wife in Maine and her family, who has a restraining order against him. Sources tell DePetro.com he is dangerous and obsessed with guns. His social media post has him as a former marine and government contractor. Pavao is being held by East Providence Police.
