The bizarre story of a woman found the week before Christmas in Carbuncle Pond in Coventry finally is solved as RI state police announce the arrest of the boyfriend of the victim and his friend. Police would not even release the name of the victim even though she had a funeral and burial. Sources close to the victim say she met “Gary” at the factory where they worked in Rhode Island (he was a janitor).  Friends of Leila described Gary as a “controlling, bald, asshole.” She was pregnant by him, and he is accused of killing her and the unborn child.
