It was a disaster of epic proportions that hit the state like a flood: the Democrat wave of corruption exploded into election night. It is not so much that every Republican lost but rather how they lost. Fung won at the polls on election day but only to have Seth Magaziner and his crew smirk as they stole the election with mail ballots. Ashley Kalus came up short but Governor Dan McKee wanted to send a message so he ran the table in Providence with mail ballots. Ballot harvesting is king and decided the elections in key races. Local TV made a fortune off all the political commercials but mail-ballots made the biggest difference. Matos went down in defeat at the polls but ballot harvesting bailed her out. Is this really democracy? Massachusetts and Connecticut have much tighter restrictions on ballot harvesting and they seem to be fine. Either the state alters how elections are conducted or no Republican will ever be elected again state-wide, or anywhere Providence “voters” are involved.
