McKee at first seem timid but got into a comfortable groove that propelled him to even joke about almost skipping the forum altogether. Biden low-approval numbers? No mention. Failing Providence schools? No mention. Epidemic of drunk driving? Not discussed. Super scam building? Barely a mention. The ILO contract and latest testing contract scandal? Zero. Last night they had to install fencing around the Supreme Court but it was not mentioned in a full hour. Governor McKee seemed to be laughing as he was gliding to his waiting vehicle completely unscathed. McKee must have thanked whoever convinced him to change course and attend the forum as the rest seem lost on the stage. Four months until the primary and the McKee campaign is leading the pack.
