So much for treating Rhode Island Health workers like professionals. The Rhode Island Department of Health sent out email late Friday encouraging workers to begin to “snitch” on co-workers who have not been vaccinated. Ellen Balasco provides both an email and phone number to call “if you are aware of anyone.” Friday October 1, is the deadline for workers to get the vaccine or they will be fired. Some workers claim there is talk of the Department of Health installing cameras and listening devices in break rooms to try and catch workers who are attempting to get around the vaccine mandate.
