The gang war in Providence and Pawtucket seems to be spreading and the city of Warwick is the latest with a shooting incident. On May 2, at 12:53 AM there was a report of shots fired on Richmond Drive in the Lakewood section off Post road. According to residents of the home on Richmond drive, two people approached the home and fired 16 shots into the home and cars in the driveway. The incident report also details possible motive of gang retaliation from the notorious C-BLOCK gang from Congress street in Providence. The individual suspected of being the target refused to cooperate with the Warwick Police investigation.
