Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo will leave to accept a position in the incoming Biden administration.  Raimondo has been mentioned for the position of Secretary of Commerce with an announcement coming this week. The heir to the Governor’s throne, Lt. Gov Dan Mckee, has been quietly telling donors this time “it is real” and he is ready for the big chair. Speculation out of Washington seems to focus on any announcement coming after the Tuesday election in Georgia. The next Raimondo scheduled briefing is next Friday.
