Rhode Island Governor Dan Mckee told NBC 10 the state is on high alert for buses of illegals arriving from the border. The state is run as a sanctuary state and CNN recently featured a GOP Senator saying it was time to start sending buses “to Rhode Island” because the D.C. delegation votes against closing the border. McKee did not say he would try to stop the buses or that they would not be welcomed in RI. Rhode Island provides driving privileges to illegals and has generous welfare benefits, both of which are attractive to illegals. McKee would not disclose how accurate the information is or what constitutes a high alert status.
