Providence City Councilman Miguel Sanchez has taken to social media to call the Projo’s Mark Patinkin “a disgrace to humanity’ for planning to travel and report from Israel. Patinkin has been a high-profile columnist for the Projo for over five decades and posted he will be traveling overseas. Patinkin has been one of the leading voices against antisemitism in Providence since the October 7, attack. Sanchez was fired by Governor McKee for pro-Hamas social media posts and also taking part in anti-Israel marches. No word if the Providence City council will offer a resolution condemning Mark Patinkin for traveling to Israel to report on the conflict. Story is developing…
