In the most violent rally since the BLM summer of 2020, a crowd of over 700 packed the Rhode Island State House and marched on Providence streets to support Hamas and denounce Israel. Below is video of the vile antisemitic chants and language used by a crowd cheering “drive Jews out of Rhode Island.” Some of the signs claimed support for Hamas and “Jews must leave.” Some of the crowd dressed as paragliders in homage to the Hamas terrorist who paraglided into the Nova music festival killing over 260 people.  Some marchers dressed as Hamas and waved Palestine flags. As they marched through the streets, the crowd would stop at Jewish owned business and bang on the doors and spit on the doorsteps. The mob screamed obscenities at the flag of Israel hanging at Providence City Hall. Some parents had children spit at Jewish businesses. BLM leaders proudly marched with the mob while laughing “everyone hates the Jews.” A complete disgrace to the city. The speakers told the crowd Israel, and the USA was bombing hospitals in Gaza and there was no mention of October 7, or the hostages.
