A East Providence city hall worker in the Board of Canvassing office has been placed on administrative leave pending a further investigation regarding the city’s personnel code.  Patience Desmaris appears to be a city hall employee who has posted on social media and is a creator on OnlyFans, although she denied to DEPETRO.com being a creator on the site. It appears this could be a unique challenge to the city policy on outside employment, accepting gifts and social media use if true she is a creator. In a statement, the mayor’s office confirmed they are aware of the situation but would not comment on a personnel matter. Her salary is paid by taxpayers, all workers agree to a code of conduct and some of the photos appear to be within East Providence city hall during business hours. Desmarais is on administrative leave with pay pending further investigation. The East Providence board of Canvassing was thrust into the spotlight last month when it was learned signatures for the Matos campaign appeared to be forged of members of the city council and are now part of a criminal investigation.
