At least somebody made an effort. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas took a shot at Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo by asking about Rhode Island ranked dead last by CNBC for “Business-friendly” states. Raimondo was prepared for her Senate confirmation and is expected to be confirmed to Commerce. Someday, both Cruz and Raimondo might face-off in a bid for the White House.
