WPRI hyped a big four day “where is Charlotte Lester?” segment but produced a piece that was timed at best. While it is good news anytime a news outlet attempts to shed light on the story, the elimination of certain facts was puzzling. Some basic facts from the missing person case of Charlette Lester omitted by CH 12:
-Why was there no mention of the owner of the home at 29 Staples Mark Perkins, who had a relationship with Charlotte Lester. She was known to visit the home. That is a fact.
-CH 12 read part of the loves notes to Charlette found behind Kent Hospital, but why omit they were signed “Love Mark?” Why leave that out the first name of the owner of 29 Staples? Fact: they were signed.
-Why did CH 12 not mention police treated 29 Staples as a crime scene for four solid weeks, with police there 24/7? That is not opinion, that is a fact.
-Why not mention police have not searched any other home?
-CH 12 showed police at her condo, but so what? The condo was never seen as a crime scene.
-Why did CH12 omit the septic system was dug up and drained?
-Why did CH 12 want to say there are “multiple people of interest?” The police say that (and have to say) that but nobody believes that. Why did they omit the words of the family?
Here is the CH 12 segment. CH 12 did get family to admit they no longer consider her missing, but rather victim of foul play and also kept pressure on Warwick Police. Just odd certain facts were left out.
