You would never want to be in an emergency situation with the Warwick School Committee. Governor Gina Raimondo could not hide her disappointment and disgust with the decision by Warwick schools to still refuse to go back for in-person learning despite the fact the virus is at less than one percent. Watch the video below. The Warwick teachers union leader has mentioned not returning until there is a vaccine and the school committee seems to be over their heads to resolve the situation. Warwick teachers receive ninety sick days per school year (out of 180) and Warwick school performance is abysmal. The Governor also mentioned the city losing federal aid and offered to assist parents in a lawsuit against the city.
