Scituate teacher mocks Jesus

gay Jesus

Meet public school teacher Jason Goffe, who is a science teacher at Scituate high school in Scituate Rhode Island. A parent reached out to DEPETRO.com after she claims her Christian son was told by Mr Goffe, ” God does not exist.” The parent claims Goffe would make dirty looks at her son, forcing the child to leave the class. The parent claims she approached the school administration was was basically blown off, being told Jason Goffe is “entitled to his beliefs.” Look at the postings from Goffe on a Facebook page titled, ” giving middle fingers to end religion.” All the posts by Goffe and the group seem to target Christianity. Jesus is Gay, Jesus getting his nails done etc. Why is this tolerated? Would the public schools tolerate antisemitic posts and ridicule? What if Goffe was posting ridicule about Mosques? The Supreme Court decided that prayer is not allowed in the public schools, however, how is it permissible for a any teacher to openly mock, ridicule and insult believers of Christ? All of this going on in Rhode Island,(during Lent)  in the state with the largest per capita of Catholics in the country (41%). Is it the role of a teacher to tell a student “God does not exist?” Complete disgrace.
