New details have emerged regarding the murder of Rony Alfonso on Manton Avenue in Providence the night of Martin Luther King. There is surveillances video that shows the first interaction on Manton Avenue and Pope street with boy number two appears to yell at Rony and strike him. Rony continues walking down Manton away from the four towards Theresa. The boy in the blue coat begins to follow him and yells for the others to join him. At Manton and Teresa, Rony is walking with his back turned when the boy in blue strikes him from behind, knocking him to the ground. The other three run down Manton with each one seemingly kicking him as they reach him. You can hear laughing as the boys flee with Rony laying on the ground. The boy in the blue coat seemed to be the aggressor of the group and one who knocked Rony down from behind.
