DePetro.com has learned new details surrounding the deadly attack carried out on Rony Alonso on Manton Avenue in Providence RI. A key component on the level of murder charges could revolve around what was said as the four were leaving the Joslin Rec. center on Monday night. Witnesses claim the boys talked of “let’s fuck someone up” on their way home. One of the four allegedly yelled ” we are gonna fuck someone up,” although it is unclear who the someone was. Police await the autopsy report and cause of death, but sources claim it is gruesome. Hospital sources claim the organs of the victim were akin to someone dropped off a tall building. Witnesses to the unprovoked attacked described the four as punching his head into the curb, and jumping on his chest “like it was a trampoline.” According to police, Alonso was on Manton avenue shortly after 7:PM, minding his own business, when the attack began. Neighbors described Rony as a harmless soul, who had dealt with substance abuse problems and had experienced homelessness. One neighbor believes it was possible Rony had been drinking the night of Martin Luther King and perhaps seemed like an easy target for the Manton 4, ages 11 and 12. One man described Rony as the neighborhood helper, as in he was always around and would help people when asked. A man named Carlos said Ronny helped him and his brother move furniture into their apartment when they moved in, and would often go to the store, run errands for those in need, and pick up prescriptions for the elderly at Anthony’s pharmacy. A man named Jose who lives on Pope street said Rony was a man of deep faith who he would often see at church.
