A Providence, Rhode Island man has been charged for his involvement in a crash this week that killed 23-year-old Casey Bassignani of Johnston, after he ran her off of 295 and fled the scene. Juan Archila, 43, has been charged with driving to endanger resulting in death, for the rollover crash that happened on I-295 in Cranston on Wednesday. Bassignani is the daughter of a state police Captain, and her brother is a trooper. In the video below, Archila talks of his hatred towards state police, and sources claim Bassignani had a state police sticker on her vehicle when he ran her off 295 and fatally struck a tree. A Democrat, liberal, progressive judge let Archila out on bail and asked him to please come back to court at the end of February and to limit his driving.
