When Pawtucket Police were called that a body had been recovered, several things stood out. First, the body was in such poor condition that they thought it was possibly a hospice patient. Broken jaw, broken bones, eighty pounds, but very clean. Police also recovered a poorly written suicide note with the body, with the note signed Erica. We have since learned the body was twenty four-year old Erica Bader, however DEPETRO.COM has learned the note was written by one of the five people arrested for her murder. A family member of one of the five arrested claim the note was written by a female (not Erica) and DEPETRO.com has learned of the existence of the note as evidence, plus one of the five is cooperating with police. In other words, they killed her and left a suicide note with the body, thinking police would believe it was self-harm. As part of a planned, multi-agency operation, five adults were arrested and charged with Murder, Kidnapping, and Conspiracy. Those individuals: Andrew Cornell, age 28; Joshua Brunelle, age 35; Elizabeth Durand, age 41; Stephanie Bletzer, age 37; and Brittney Terpening, age 34. Three additional adults, Christopher Kordalewski, age 22, Joanne Miller, age 26, and Cheryl Blakely, age 36, were arrested and charged with Kidnapping, Conspiracy, and Failure to Report a Death.
