DePetro.com has confirmed ICE agents were in Rhode Island over the weekend apprehending illegals. It is a complicated situation because both Governor McKee and Providence Mayor Smiley have instructed police NOT to cooperate with ICE, but Providence Police would neither confirm nor deny ICE in the city this weekend. Various witnesses told DEPETRO.com there was an incident with at least two taken into custody on Chalkstone Avenue, and another siting where ICE showed up.  Story is developing.
