NARRAGANSETT — Chief Sean Corrigan reports that the Narragansett Police Department has arrested and charged a man with murder.
BRYAN WILSON, 27, of NARRAGANSETT, has been arrested and charged with:
- Second-Degree Domestic Murder
- Violation of a Protective Order
WILSON was arraigned Tuesday in the 4th Division of the District Court. A status conference was set for Oct. 9, and the case was referred to a grand jury.
On Monday, Sept. 30, at approximately 1:26 p.m., the Narragansett Police Department responded to 97 Inkberry Trail for a report of a deceased female under suspicious circumstances.
Once on scene, officers and detectives conducted a preliminary investigation. The victim was pronounced dead, and officers took a suspect, later identified as WILSON, the victim’s son, into custody.The victim’s identity is being withheld pending formal identification and next-of-kin notification procedures.
Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no additional details are being released at this time.The Narragansett Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident. There is no threat to public safety.
