So much for the peaceful protesters.  A planned rally to show support for Providence Police was postponed due to weather but that did not stop violent Black Lives Matter protesters from trying to engage the police and police supporters into a brawl. Police were called outside the Providence safety complex as Black Lives Matter protesters began screaming to kill all police and cause a riot. One violent BLM member had a knife and was wrestled to the ground while screaming he wanted to kill all police.  Black Lives Matter continues to insist they are a peaceful group with one media outlet blaming the arrest on the Back the Blue supporters. A city council member in Providence was cited for interfering in a nightclub dispute involving police and an anarchist bar known to want to harm police.
