Video: Who killed Daevon Silva in Manhattan?

49 and 7th

Daevon Silva, aka Lil Dae, of Pawtucket was killed at 49th and 7th in Times Square during the early morning hours of November 24, 2025. According to NYC police, three men were involved with the homicide involving a knife and bat, and the crime remains unsolved. Friends of Silva who spoke to DEPETRO.COM, claim he was at a nearby recording studio with a friend, when an argument erupted, which led to the deadly altercation out on the street. Silva had just released a ten-song album titled “Dae 2 Da3,” in October (link below), but unknown where the album was produced. There are three recording studios in the immediate area of the crime scene, but unknown if Silva was at any of the three or traveled there from another studio. Calls to MBO, Quad, and Penthouse were met with claims they “do not release logs of individuals who record at their studios.” It is fairly common for musical acts to record late at night or in the early morning hours around Manhattan.  If they were inside one of the nearby studios, police would have access to surveillance video from both inside and outside the building. Sources claim Silva was friendly with one of the three men, but not the other two. It remains unknown what the argument inside the studio stemmed from.
