The battle of Rhode Island is on with Central Falls as "ground zero". Deb Gist emerges as a hero fighting for all children and families. The union is led by Marcia Rebak, who has never missed an opportunity to grab more money. |
The union is running scared as teachers around the state watch in horror as their perks melt like ice. Rhode Island is 6th highest in spending and ranked 47th in performance. The teachers in Central Falls make 78K, plus full benefits and pensions. |
Fire the teachers. Fire all the teachers and start fresh. Marcia and her union has failed the kids. |
