Gerry Martineau pleads guilty and gets 46 months and $1.8 million fine. That is about $1 dollar per bag that he did make. No word if the 8 million bags he lied about will ever show up. Classic moment in court as Martineau and his lawyer exchanged looks as the judge imposed the fine(s) and jail time. How much? 46 months? $1.8 million? |
Was this the first time they were hearing it? When does the next shoe drop? The feds will let this one sink in for about a week before they move forward for the next target. Martineau was considered one of the good guys back in the day on Smith Hill. If he is dirty, then who else is along for the ride? |
