Who is in charge of snow Rhode hell? Thursday, December 13

A snow storm hits and knocks the state down for the count as drivers are stuck on roads for hours. The snow comes down and there is no help in sight. The governor is in Iraq and nobody is in charge on Smith hill as chaos takes over the entire state. Where is the Lt. Governor? What is she doing?

Sunday should bring more snow to cities and towns with no money to remove it. When Governor Carcieri took over he went on vacation and there was the nightclub fire. A few months later he went away and there was the smoke shop raid. Now he is in Iraq and the war has hit home again.

Drunk crushed by RIPTA bus Monday, December 10

RIPTA refuses to allow a drunk on the bus, then crushes him as he falls under it. No drunks allowed on a RIPTA bus? Since when? Most of the passengers who ride the bus seem to be half in the bag. Domenick Paola attempted to get on a RIPTA bus Friday afternoon in Pawtucket when he seem to be stumbling and was refused service to the bus.

Rhode Island leads the nation in drunk driving yet RIPTA will not let some drunk ride a few blocks on a Friday afternoon in Pawtucket. Maybe if more people took the bus after drinking the state would not have the DUI problem. If this bus rule is enforced, how will the kids at Barrington high get to school?
