Laffey leaves the door slightly open Monday, January 11

Is he really out? Steve Laffey says he is "still not running", butcomes up with a brillant plan to save the state. Laffey proves he is the only one with the guts and plan to make a difference for the GOP. So what happen now?

Still time for the GOP to shed Gio and get Laffey to run. The field remains Chafee, Caprio and Lynch.

It was quite the week for the head of the RI GOP Gio Cicione. Can anyone remember the last time a person committed political suicide in such a moronic way? Gio of the "GOP" became "Gio the jerk"by pulling the ultimate stunt of killing the party faithful.26 to 10? Who cares? No vote because I said so.

Gio is on a mission to try and prevent Steve Laffey from becoming the candidate of the party and is willing to lose his job over it. Gio went first with Trillo, then on to Rory Smith, and anybody but Laffey. Watch for Laffey and company to win this battle. Gio should resign or will be forced out.

Power cannot be given, it must be taken.
